Eligibility Criteria For IAUE Recruitment 2025
To be eligible for the IAUE Recruitment 2025, candidates must meet the following requirements and possess the necessary qualifications before applying.
General Qualifications
- Candidates are expected to be proficient in both written and oral English, with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently in a professional work setting.
- Candidates must have relevant academic qualifications such as B.Sc, HND, NCE, or OND, depending on the position applied for.
- Qualifications such as postgraduate degrees or professional certifications will be considered an advantage.
- A valid NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate may be required for some positions.
- O’Level Certificate (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB) with at least three (3) credits, including English, and passes in two (2) other subjects.
- All candidates must have a valid means of identification such as a valid driver’s license, National Identification Card, International Passport, or Voter’s Card.
- Computer literacy is an advantage.
- Candidates applying for non-academic positions must ensure they have the necessary qualifications, relevant years of experience, and meet all specific requirements for the position they are applying for.
Specific Requirements for Academic Positions
Lecturer II: A candidate must possess a Ph.D. in the relevant field from a recognized university.
- Assistant Lecturer: Candidates must have a Master’s degree in the relevant field from a recognized university.
- Lecturer I: Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in the relevant field from a recognized university and must have at least three (3) years of experience as a Lecturer II, with relevant academic publications.
- Senior Lecturer: Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in the relevant field from a recognized university and must have been a Lecturer I for at least three (3) years, with relevant academic publications.
- Reader: Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in the relevant field from a recognized university and must have been a Senior Lecturer for at least three (3) years. Additionally, the candidate must have published in both local and international journals and books.
- Professor: Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in the relevant field from a recognized university and must have been a full Professor or Reader for at least three (3) years. The candidate should also have published in both local and international journals and books.
- Graduate Assistant: Candidates must have a First-Class Honours degree or a Second-Class Upper (2:1) degree from a recognized university in the relevant field.
