Nigerian Navy Training Requirements
All shortlisted candidates will undergo a training exercise, as mentioned earlier. To ensure a smooth process, candidates must come fully prepared with the following required items and documents:-
- National Identification Number (NIN) print-out slip
- Original and photocopies of credentials
- Bank Verification Number (BVN) print-out
- Printout of their duly signed application forms.
- Originals and photocopies of a valid Driver’s Licence (Category H only).
- Original and photocopy of the State of Origin/LGA certificate.
- National Identity Card/Acknowledgment Slip.
- Writing materials.
Clothing and Personal Items
- Two (2) navy blue PT shorts
- Two (2) white round-neck vests
- Two (2) pairs of white canvas shoes
- Two (2) pairs of brown canvas shoes

Important Notice For All Shortlisted Candidates
- Every candidate will be interviewed one by one. If you do not meet any of the required criteria, you will be disqualified at any stage of the process.
- If any detail you provide is found to be false at any point during the selection process, your application will be canceled. You may also be handed over to the police for possible prosecution.
- If you fail to disclose any important medical information as required on the Medical Examination Pro Forma, you will be withdrawn from training and dismissed, even if you have already been admitted into the Service.
- If you do not report for screening at your designated center on the assigned date for your batch, you will lose your chance to continue in the process.
- Anyone caught with fake documents or trying to impersonate another candidate will be arrested and prosecuted.
